Pasar Katemak Pameran dan Bazar Mengumpulkan Para Komunitas Kreatif Di Pulau Timor Nusa Tenggara Timur (Market Exhibition and Bazaar for Gathering Creative Communities in Timor Island East Of Nusa Tenggara)


Kupang 21/22 Juli 2019 – “PIKUL” melalui program Young Female Farmers (YFF) didukung oleh OXFAM @oxfamdiindonesia membuat sebuah acara yang diberi nama PASAR KATEMAK II yakni Pameran dan Bazar untuk komunitas – komunitas di Nusa Tenggara Timur dan acara ini adalah yang kedua kalinya serta diharapkan akan terus menerus diselenggarakan untuk membuka wadah bagi siapa saja yang kreatif didalam menghasilkan produk-produk lokal yang kreatif baik makanan, minuman serta kerajinan tangan khas Nusa Tenggara Timur. “Haunukh Nasufan” (Bahasa Timor) yang memiliki arti bahwa sebuah pertanda bahwa bunga- bunga di Tanah Timor yang saat musim dingin mulai bersemi. Bahasa inilah yang ditetapkan sebagai tema acara dan diibaratkan seperti musim indah ini maka program ini diharapkan dapat menggelorakan semangat mencintai produk lokal serta kampanye bebas sampah plastik dalam mengemas produk-produk lokal yang ada.

Kupang 21/22 July 2019 – “PIKUL” through the Young Female Farmers (YFF) program supported by OXFAM @oxfamdiindonesia made an event called PASAR KATEMAK II such an Exhibition and Bazaar for communities in East of Nusa Tenggara and this event was the second one and hopefully will be continued in order to open a space for anyone who is creatively in producing local products both food and beverages and handicrafts which is typical of East Nusa Tenggara. “Haunukh Nasufan” (Timorese) which means that it is a sign that on winter then flowers on the Land of Timor will began to blossom. This is set as theme of the event and is likened to this beautiful season so this program is expected to boost the spirit of loving local products as well as a plastic waste-free campaign in packaging existing local products.

Acara ini diadakan di Taman Kota Kupang Taman Nostalgia dan murni kreatifitas dari para relawan Pikul dengan menggabungkan komunitas-komunitas kreatif yang ada. PASAR KATEMAK II ini telah berhasil mempertemukan 22 komunitas kreatif dengan lapak jualan produk masing-masing yang tentunya unik. Komuitas-komunitas ini terdiri dari Anggota YFF (Young Female Foundation) dari Desa, dan UKM (Usaha Kecil Menengah) serta komunitas kreatif lainnya yang ada di Kota Kupang Kupang pada 21/22 Juli 2019.

The event was held at Taman Nostalgia city park of Kupang and one hundred per sen initiated by Pikul volunteers creativity by combining creative communities. PASAR KATEMAK II has succeeded in bringing together 22 creative communities through their own creative stalls to sell their respective products which were certainly in unique ways. These communities consist of YFF (Young Female Farmers) Members which are coming from various Village, and UKM (Small and Medium Enterprises) and other creative communities in Kupang City on 21/22 July 2019.

Acara ini digadang menjadi harapan besar bagi masyarakat sebagai sebuah masukan dan upaya bersama pemerintah dalam pemberian ruang pamer, pentas sekaligus hiburan kesenian dan kebudayaan. Acara ini diselenggarakan tanpa memungut biaya kepada pengunjung dan semua peserta menggunakan kain-kain tradisional NTT serta disertai acara-acara hiburan tari-tarian rakyat yang ditarikan oleh semua komunitas dan bahkan para pengunjung ikut menikmati suasana di Taman Kota. Acara ini harus ditumbuhkembangkan secara terus menerus sekaligus mengkampanyekan “cintai budaya sendiri yakni budaya Nusa Tenggara Timur” di semua kalangan termasuk generasi milenial saat ini.

The event was held to be a great hope for community as a recommendation and joint effort to government in providing showrooms, performances as well as arts and cultural entertainment. The event was held without charging fees to visitors and all participants were wearing traditional NTT fabrics and accompanied by entertainment programs of folk dances which were danced by all communities and even the visitors took part in enjoying the atmosphere in the City Park. This program must be continuously developed while campaigning on “loving own culture of East Nusa Tenggara” in all circles including the current millennial generation.
