ARSITEK MELAWAN LUPA (ARCHITECT AGAINST SENILE)

Melintasi zaman ke zaman, bangunan bertuliskan Villa Liberty Aquarella’s Angel tapi masyarakat Kota Solo lebih sering menyebutnya Omah Lowo (Rumah Kelelawar). Yah, Omah Lowo kini menjadi “istana” kelelawar. Sebuah rumah besar berarsitektur eropa tampak tua dan lusuh. Namun, ia masih megah berada di jantung kota Solo di Jalan Slamet Riyadi. Tak banyak yang tahu, rumah yang terletak di perempatan Purwosari, tak jauh dari Stasiun Purwosari ini memiliki banyak kisah sejarah.

Traversing the centuries, a building with sign reads aquarelle’s  Angel Villa but people in Solo City  are more often mentioning to “Omah Lowo” (House of Bats). Well, Omah Lowo now is becoming ” a castles” of bats. A big house designed by European architecture  looks old and shabby. However, It was still magnificent to be in the heart of Solo at Jalan Slamet Riyadi. Not many people know about its existence, the house located at  intersection of Purwosari, and not far from Purwosari Station where a place has a lot of historical narratives.
