Padang Pasir

Thanks God, in Indonesia there are no wide desert like desert in the Sahara. So then I was very happy on my vacation playing around in the small desert on the edge of a beautiful beaches in the south of the island of Timor  while enjoying to see a beautiful painting as a results of coastal wind blowing breeze though did not realize the heat of the sun transforming my skin into a sleek black skin. But deserts give a space to return to innocent by turning back to become a little child who have fun playing jumps, somersaults and other attractions on that beautiful stretch of sand. However, water is everything, so do not forget to bring enough water while in a desert even though the smallest one. One more thing do not forget to bring sunbathing cream to protect your skin.

I didn’t reach that part of Indonesia… it looks magnificent. As Traveling Rockhopper say, deserts are a “dream of beauty” (unfortunately I didn’t see the Gobi….). I have visited many and each time, in the most far away part of the globe it was just a new kind of experience. I have the lower part on Indonesia in my “wish-book” and I dearly hope to be able to go there one day. Thank you for sharing! :-)claudine
